About Sue

Sue Choi is a Pilates and yoga teacher who knows when to let things go and how to guide people back to themselves. Her work is rooted in attention, consistency, and care, with an emphasis on listening rather than pushing.

She helps students ease their Sunday scaries, build capacity without force, and develop a steadier relationship with movement and rest. Sue offers honest, thoughtful feedback and meets people where they are while staying present as things change.

Her teaching blends Pilates, yoga, and somatic practices, supporting both brand-new beginners and deeply practiced students who are looking for something quieter, more attentive, and more human.

Alongside her teaching, Sue writes reflections on movement, attention, and everyday life on Substack.

My mentors

These are the people I have learned everything I know from:

Cody Cook-Parrott showed me that the way you move through the world matters, and helped me move through my creative life with less fear.

Jason Crandell gave me structure when I needed it and showed me that clarity can create space, not constraint.

Alexandria Crow believed in me before I did, and quietly changed how I see myself as a teacher.

Toni Cupal saw the fear and anxiety in me, let me be prickly and cautious, and taught me about energy, presence, and trusting my intuition.

Sabrina Kelly has been both mentor and friend, showing me how beautiful it can be to live and teach authentically.

Jill Miller taught me how to trust my body by listening and staying in relationship with it.

Sarah Artha Negara taught me how to read the body, move with intention, and become a better teacher by example.

Hana Raftery showed me that movement doesn’t have to be perfect or polished, and gave me permission to be who I already was.

Courtney Ronca met me with steadiness and care during a season of growth.

And my students.
Always my students.

They keep teaching me how to listen, adjust, stay honest, and stay human.
Everything I offer is shaped in relationship with them.
